How To Activate Post Office DOP Internet Banking ? – Recently Indian Post has decided to upgrade all their existing post offices branched to Core Banking Solution (CBS) as like the normal banking services. Indian Post has taken the decision for CBS environment based on the recent licence of payment bank given to them from Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

As like Banking Services, The Indian Post will be having the saving account along with all the latest communication tool for accounts like Post Office account Internet Banking, Post Office Mobile Banking, Post Office SMS banking, Indian Post Mobile Apps etc.

Post Office Saving account holder can send money through NEFT or RTGS to any other banks in India. Customer of Post Office Saving account holder will be having ATM cards to access the largest network of ATM in India.

Step 2 : Enter Your User ID on DoP Internet Banking Portal

Step 3 : Enter Your Password

Step 4 : New Screen will be opened, Reset Password on First Login

  1. Sir, my post office where I have my SB account is not accepting net banking applications, but other big PO do. Can I get my net banking application processed from a bigger PO?

  2. Dear Raj I also try for internet banking , I have passbook and there CIF No- is mention in passbook .. Is CIF no is cutomer id ???
    can you please confirm.?

    because i am flliing CIF id in place of Customer id but i am geeting message

    • Hi Om, You need to visit your post office, they would allot an User-id and a Password (to be used at the time of login) by the Post Bank in the first instance. The User will be required to change the User-Id (optional) and password (mandatory) assigned by the Bank on accessing Internet Banking Services for the first time.

      Customer ID and Account ID both are mandatory for enabling the Post Office Account.
