I have changed my Internet Subscriber of Two year to Hathway with only one reason, that was the cost factor. My requirement was Unlimited Internet access with decent speed. When Hathway marketing department has visited my society, I checked for their Pamplets and Spoke to marketing guys there, they convinced me to go for Unlimited connection with 512 kbps speed at low price of rs 560 (approx). They also told me that If I Paid them Three months advance rental, my installation cost will be waived off.
After going through their word I called the hathway guys to Install the connection and I paid them by cheque three month advance rental. This is only the time when I saw hathway guys were most active.
They Installed the Modem and other required connection within 48 Hrs and My Cheque also get cleared in 48 hrs. After that the bad time started. First day evening after the Installation when I sat on my computer to do some work, I saw that It was not working. After that I did some initial Network troubleshooting. When I didn’t get successful in that I tried to contact Customer Care of Hathway.After trying for half an hour I was not successful in contacting them.
After that I called the person who came to my place for Installation. He spoke to me in such a rude manner you can’t believe. He told me clearly that His work is only the Installation not the support.
Anyway I sent a mail to customer care of Hathway and put a complaint on their website. All these thing took seven days for me without Internet connection.
Finally what I did, I put down my connection by myself and go for my earlier subscriber. Atleast their customer care is very helpful and we can contact them anytime.
It is more that 2.5 months after receiving the mail from their billing customer care department for refund of my money, stil no payment of my advance rent.
I was victim of going to subscriber without enquiring or reviews. What I suggest you go through reviews and enquire about your subscriber before taking any plan.
In My View, I never suggest you to Go for Hathway since I have personally saw the poor services of Hathway...I have lost my money and more than seven days of work.
