Any of the account holder can follow and update the address in the account with the minimum official documents like Address proof, ID proof or any other valid documents. The most reliable way to update the address in SBI account is after visiting the home branch or any of the branch of SBI with self attested address proof with originals.

Login to Online SBI Internet Banking or Click here
Go to profile Tab
Enter your profile password
Click on option Change/Update Address
Upload your address proof
Submit

How To Check the Address Change ?

After updating the address, you may check it online. Follow the steps below to check the change in address online –

Log to your Online SBI Internet Banking
Go to the account statement tab and select the account number.
Generate Statement of any period
Check the Address

Documents Require to Update the Address

Following documents are require to update the address. A scan copy will be required to upload online if updated via Internet banking. The OVDs are :

Aadhar Card.
Voter ID Card.
Passport.
Utility bills not more than two months old of any service provider (electricity, telephone, postpaid mobile phone, piped gas, water bill).
Job card issued by NREGA duly signed by an officer of the State Government.
Property or Municipal Tax Receipt.
Letter of allotment of accommodation from employer issued by State or central government.
