[Solved] Google Pay Transaction Failed, Money Debited From Bank Account
Google Pay Transaction Failed and amount is debited from bank account – Know the step by step process to claim the refund for Google Pay failed transactions and debit of money from the bank account. It might take up to one week for your bank to complete the transaction. After the processing period, the transaction status will change to either ‘Success’ or ‘Failed’. It is advisable not to make the same payment again if the status is ‘Payment processing’.
The failed transactions usually take three working days for your bank like SBI, Canara Bank, SyndicateBank, Bank of Baroda, Union Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC etc to complete the transaction. Wait for your bank to complete the transaction before contacting support.
If it has been more than three working days since the transaction was initiated and status if currently failed. Follow the below instructions:
- Visit the Google Pay Dispute Form section on their website or Click Here
- Take out the bank statement and attach with the form
- Do mention the same mobile number and Email ID registered with the Google Pay account
- That’s done !
- Google will inform you the status within Two days.

NOTE : As background, Google Pay works as a technology service provider to our partner banks (defined as payment service providers by the NPCI), to allow for payments through the UPI infrastructure. - Click on each transaction to view more details.
Google Pay Transaction Failed – How to report ?
- Open Google Pay .
- Open the transaction that you want to report.
- At the top-right, tap More Raise a dispute.
- Tap Continue.
Banks provide real time reversals and the amount would be transferred back to the payer account immediately within 24 to 48 hours. If not contact the customer care. Most of the disputed Google Pay Transaction Failed, are resolved within two weeks.
