Razorpay enable Credit Card transactions through UPI on merchant locations both online & offline store. NPCI has enabled the RuPay credit cards on UPI which helps the payment aggregator Razorpay to support the existing setup at merchants location for accepting credit card. The acceptance is already started with the Axis Bank credit cards and will be extended to other banks like HDFC Bank, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank and Indian Bank. The customer of these banks will be the first to enjoy the benefits of this innovation.

The acceptance of Credit Card through UPI apps like PhonePe, Amazon Pay, Google Pay etc will help the users to get the benefits of the Credit Card reward points. Currently Google Pay is supporting the Credit Card of Axis Bank & SBI only for the same. There are numerous merchants which are still not accepting the Credit Card through UPI, hence the users are advised to verify the same before making QR based payment through credit card on UPI.
