SSC CGL Tier I Results Declared,Cutoff For General Category Highest Ever in Prelims

SSC CGL Tier I Results for Prelims in 2013Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the Tier I prelims results for it’s controversial CGL 2013. This year Combined Graduate Level (CGL) was in trouble since the day one when Notification was released.

The unexpected move for this year SSC prelims results was Cutoff For General category. The Cutoff for General Category has gone abruptly higher which is 15 marks more than previous year. Cutoff for General category was 96 marks which is highest ever in SSC CGL history.

Even for the Tax Assistant the cutoff is 92.50 where as in other category the Cutoff is almost similar to previous year.

Anyway this is the topic for intense Discussion but depends on the number of Seats it’s really make a difference to keep such a higher Cutoff for General Category in prelims.Around One Lacs candidates qualified for second round.

It was expected that the cutoff wouldn’t be 88 or more but this declared cutoff for CGL by SSC breaks the hope for many of candidates for whom this was the last attempt.

What DO you this ?
