How To Transfer Funds To NPS Account ? – There are numerous queries generated on this blog by viewers regarding the transfer funds to NPS Account through any banking channel i.e. branch, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking etc. There is no clear guidelines are mentioned. Follow the below mentioned procedure and step to transfer fund to NPS account (New Pension System) :
Step 1 : First of all subscriber needed to get the NCIS or NPS Contribution Instruction Slip from any of the POP-SP or your nearest banks or Post offices or from your employers. You may also download the NCIS form here
Step 2 : Fill the NCIS form and deposit it to any of the bank you have chosen as your subscriber or POP-SP center designated for collecting the NPS subscriber amount. You may also take the help of CAMS
Step 3 : If you are the salaried person, contribution are deducted from the salary of the subscribers and employer will transfer the contribution to POP.
Step 4 : Salaried subscriber may directly transfer the fund to their NPS account if they know their POP. Just contact them and follow the instruction as provided by them.
Step 5 : There are many banks who are providing the facilities of online transfer to NPS account for their NPS subscriber. In such cases you need to verify first with your bank. In general cases just add the NPS PRAN card receipt as your biller and pay the amount using internet banking.

Step 6 : Procedure is same for contribution in both Tier I and Tier II
NOTE : A NPS subscriber can contribute to NPS account from any of the POP/ POP-SP as per the list provided by PFRDA whether registered or not with the service provider or banks. Subscriber can select nearest POP-SP for making such contribution to their NPS account.
