  1. Never share confidential information such as your Credit Card number/Card Expiry date/CVV number/OTP/ Card PIN/Internet banking password with anyone, even if they claim to be from the Bank.
  2. Beware of calls that are made in disguise of reward point offers, gift vouchers, holiday coupons, card activation, limit enhancement, electricity bill payments, kyc update, job offers etc. to seek your confidential card information, password or OTP.
  3. Never reply to emails or SMSes that seek personal information.
  4. Do not share sensitive financial information on Social Media.
  5. Do not hand over your Credit Card to anyone and ensure that the card is used in your presence.
  6. Please check for https:\\ when you access your account details through Internet Banking.
  7. Please pay complete attention to the SMS alerts like transaction alerts, OTP sent by the Bank and in case of any discrepancy, immediately report the same to the Bank.
  8. Please read complete OTP content and alert sent by the Bank like transaction amount, Merchant Name and in case of any suspicion, immediately report the same to the Bank.
  9. Memorize your PIN/Passwords and destroy the mailers.
  10. Change them at regular intervals.
  11. Manage your credit card transactions (Enable/Disable transactions and set per transaction limit) for domestic and international usage based on your need.
  12. The same can be done through Bank’s own apps or Net Banking or Mobile App or Service Portal.

There are many fake contacts available on the internet and fraudsters may take advantage of the situation and misguide the customers to steal Credit Card credentials through Vishing calls or through Remote access by taking control over the mobile/system.

Credit Card holders may stay safe on such spams and not to share or access any unknown links/mobile apps to prevent frauds. Review your Credit Card and Bank statements regularly, and in case of any discrepancy, immediately report the same to the Bank. Ensure that your latest contact information is updated with the Bank.
