SBI Credit Card Rewards – No Points on eWallets Recharge

SBI Credit Card Rewards – No Reward Points on eWallets Recharge using SBI Credit Cards starting July, 1st 2020  – SBI Credit Cards has a bad news for their customers. They have stopped the reward point  on eWallets like Paytm, OLA and others top ups. It means you will not be able to get any SBI Credit Card Rewards point on eWallets recharge from 1st July 2020. 

Additionally, a good news for IRCTC SBI Credit Cardholder, in line with the reduction in Payment Gateway Surcharge on IRCTC bookings, the surcharge waiver will be reduced to 1% w.e.f. 11 Jun’20.

Here is the Updated Notices for SBI Credit Card Rewards

  • W.e.f. 01 July 2020, the slabs for Late Payment Charges will be revised to the following.
    • Total Amount Due Fee
    • Rs.0-Rs.500 Nil
    • Rs.501-Rs.1000 400
    • Rs.1001-Rs.10,000 750
    • More than Rs.10,001 950
  • Please note that the above-mentioned charges are exclusive of applicable taxes.
  • W.e.f. 1 July 2020, the Processing Fees for Flexipay EMIs bookings will be revised to 1.99% of the conversion amount with a Min. charge of Rs. 249 and a Max. charge of Rs. 1,500. Please note that above mentioned charge is exclusive of applicable taxes.
  • W.e.f. 1st May ’19, Cash payment Fee will be revised to Rs 199 per transaction. Please note that above mentioned charge is exclusive of applicable taxes
  • Effective 14 Feb’19, applicable Interest will be charged on all overdue card accounts till the time complete outstanding balance is paid by the customer
  • Elite Card: W.E.F 01 July ’18, all transactions of Rs. 1,000 or more ,carried out in Indian Currency at an international location or at merchants which are located in India but registered overseas, will attract a transaction fee of 1.99%. T&C
  • Other Cards: W.E.F 01 July ’18, all transactions of Rs. 1,000 or more ,carried out in Indian Currency at an international location or at merchants which are located in India but registered overseas, will attract a transaction fee of 3.50%. T&C
  • Dear IRCTC SBI Credit Cardholder, in line with the reduction in Payment Gateway Surcharge on IRCTC bookings, the surcharge waiver will be reduced to 1% w.e.f. 11 Jun’20. T&C
  • W.e.f. 01 July 2020, transactions pertaining to e-Wallet loading/recharge identified under MCCs 6540 and 6541, will not accrue Reward Points
