Types of Bank Accounts Eligible for Internet Banking?

Many time I have received the complains from number of customers that their accounts are not eligible for Internet Banking services; hence they are deprived from using the Online services of Bank.

This is very much common in business or proprietorship or Joints or Partnership accounts. Since the submitting tax like service tax is now being made compulsory to deposit online it’s made compulsory for Business or companies to get internet banking.

Which Type of Accounts is not eligible for Internet Banking?

Below mentioned accounts with the said instruction are not eligible for Internet Banking

All the partnership accounts where operating instruction are provided jointly i.e. where operation are done jointly by all the partners..

  1. Such account where instruction are Payable jointly, any two or survivor
  2. HUF accounts which are operated by managers
  3. Such accounts which are operated by Administrator, Official Liquidator
  4. Accounts with Restrictive Operations

If you want to enable the Internet Banking services in above mentioned accounts with restrictive operation then under such condition follow the below mentioned steps:

a)      Give a written request

to your bank with all partner sign on letter to authorize bank to issue the Internet banking.

b)      Same request can also be submitted by other such account holders
